Jim is currently the Chief of Police for the City of Benson. He has 7 years of experience as a police canine handler and trainer. As a Police K-9 Handler, Jim trained and handled dogs for basic police work, tracking and narcotics detection. Jim and his Police Dog "Maverick" competed in numerous United States Police Canine Association, Regional Field Trials as well as at the national level.

Jim has turned his love for the outdoors and for training dogs in the direction of Labrador Retrievers. Now he is training retrievers for AKC Hunt Tests and hunting.

 

 

Trish currently works for the University of Minnesota-Morris as the User Support Coordinator in the Department of Computing Services. Her background also includes working as a Veterinary Technician for three years. Trish uses her general knowledge of animals and specialized skills with dogs that she gained in her Vet. Tech. experience to manage our breeding program. Trish trains dogs on a daily basis and has handled our dogs in AKC Hunt Tests.
